A branch that meanders along Price Station Road ... A mile and a half road that has but only two, maybe three families living on it ... All this untamed beauty ... Natural --- just as it is and always was ... 'This special place ... This Magnolia Lane ... This Wilderness' ... providing inspiration for my "Raisins and Almonds---A Civil War Story"             ........ These trails are all of my own doing, made in my younger days, for without them you couldn't get through the denseness of this forest, bringing to mind this poetry of long ago:--- "THIS is the forest primeval. The murmuring pines and the hemlocks, Bearded with moss, and in garments green, indistinct in the twilight, Stand like Druids of eld, with voices sad and prophetic..."  Can you possibly name it?           ........ I call this place at the end of Magnolia Lane,  'Between the Hollows'  ... And this 'Wilderness' where we have all just been, 'The Timber'               ......... As for the music you're listening to ... It's Yanni's  'Tribute' from his 1997 album by the same name ... And if by chance, should you hear nothing, then try playing either of the media players positioned just below this slide presentation.          ........
