Nancy playing and Bruce singing a voice-over duet with himself --- an 1854 Hymn --- "Work, For the Night is Coming"

Although not played in Churches anymore, this was Nancy's father's favorite hymn---
and so as a little girl Nancy would play this same Hymn for her Daddy every now and then, and always with her younger sister, Joanne, looking on

But the piano you now hear is over 100-years old--- a restored Jacob Doll (nee "Dahl") upright built in 1905--- and now here at the end of Magnolia Lane

And In memory of Nancy's father, Arne Richardsson, this 1854 Hymn will make an appearance in "Raisins and Almonds---A Civil War Story"

John Whitehead quoting from the Bible:--- "As long as it is day, I must do the work of Him Who sent Me.  Night is coming, when no one can work." John 9:4

Work, for the night is coming,
Work through the morning hours;
Work while the dew is sparkling,
Work 'mid springing flowers;
Work when the day grows brighter,
Work in the glowing sun;
Work, for the night is coming,
When man's work is done.
