NOTE: As of July 28, 2003 everybody should be able to hear this old tune, "Rock-a-my-soul", but this version is very special, for it was composed,
arranged, and played by yours truly, H. Bruce Downey, York '52, specifically for beginning piano players everywhere---
especially me--- and it even includes a change of key or two--- see if you can pick them out! And I am playing my composition
on our 100+ year-old Jacob Doll (nee Dahl) upright piano in our basement family room at the end of Magnolia Lane in Christiansburg,
VA. And if you look carefully enough you
will see my hand-written music to the immediate left and below.

So what are Postscripts ? Postscripts can be video clips, audio clips, photos, or any other
material submitted by classmates anytime after the 50th Reunion held in October, 2002. So feel free to contribute anything
at anytime by writing to Bruce Downey, York '52 at crow@vt.edu.
READ ME FIRST: The video and audio files offered
below, as well as all else throughout this York '52 Reunion website, are stored on-line at York1952.tripod.com which
costs a nominal $4.95 a month, underwritten by me. And for that $4.95 I get 1 GB of storage and no ads when visitors
go to these websites. Video clips are huge files--one minute is about 1 MB of space, so depending on your Internet connection
speed, these files could take up to say 3, maybe 4-minutes to load. Because of heavy traffic at tripod.com--- all
at the same time that you too are "in the intersection," the traffic light may turn "red" before
you fully download these video clips of only 1-minute duration. So if you get "stuck in traffic", be patient,
for these clips will eventually load. Visitors with faster Internet speeds than simple and now somewhat old-fashioned
dial-up modems will have no problem in loading these clips.
ALSO NOTE: Both the audio
and the video clips will be played on-line by either QuickTime players or by Windows media players. Whether you have an iMac or a PC shouldn't matter, because we're not downloading
these clips to be played by your computer, but to be loaded temporarily by your web browser.
AND FINALLY THIS: You should
experience no difficulty in loading the much smaller audio clips even @ slower dial-up Internet speeds.

<<<< Here is Ken outside his and wife Jennifer's home in Fitchburg, MA relaxing
with their dog, Zippy. And on April 27, 2003 here is story behind this this great photo....
"This picture was taken a couple years ago. It happened again today. To get Zippy to come home I had to teach
him to expect a treat. He LOVES creamy peanut butter.
Zippy is very affectionate! Being licked on
the nose/lips by Zippy after a spring time romp is not easily forgotten.
Swamp water and peanut butter dog breath!"
