Uncle Robert (Bob) James Whitehead (1898-1970) and Aunt Alma Anna Rock Whitehead (1898-1969) were the father and mother of now retired General of the US Air Force, Robert (Bob) James Whitehead, Jr. (1923-yyyy), Marilyn Phay Whitehead Blew (1930-yyyyy), and now deceased Kenneth Whitehead (xxxx-yyyy).  Uncle Bob Whitehead was the only son of Great Grandfather William Wilson Whitehead (1858-1940) and Great Grandmother Maria McCullom Whitehead (1857-1944).
 
Uncle Bob Whitehead's other close relations were as follows:
\(1) brother of my Grandmother Ellen Whitehead Black (1885-1964) and sisters, Alice Whitehead Lisk (1887-yyyy), and Della Whitehead Smith (1882-yyyyy).
(2) half-brother of Bertha Whitehead Schultz (1900-1960's ?)---Bertha being the illegitimate child of Lilly Hope Humble and my Great Grandfather, William Wilson Whitehead.  Bertha was raised as the child of Elizabeth Boos Schultz (Gramma) Whitehead (whom my Great Grandfather Whitehead married in 1902 just after Lilly Hope Humble died).  Upon Gramma Whitehead's death in 1930, Bertha was finally told the truth of the matter.  Bertha married Martin Schultz (no relation to Bertha's surrogate mother, the aforementioned Gramma Whitehead---Elizabeth Boos Schultz Whitehead).
(3) close friend (but not a relative) of Walter Schultz (1883-1943), the adopted son of Elizabeth Boos Schultz (Gramma) Whitehead (yyyy-1930) who rescued Uncle Bob Whitehead  and his half-sister Bertha from a boarding house when Gramma Whitehead found out the truth about her then husband, my Great Grandfather, William Wilson Whitehead's womanizing escapades.
